Chad eVisa: Spanish, Swedish, Belgian, French, British-citizen, Dutch and Austrian ordinary passports
Each current passport-authority source establishes Chad visa liability for its named ordinary passport. Chad's later official rule makes the complete non-diplomatic/non-courtesy new-visa route exclusively electronic and pre-travel.
- Applies only to short visitor travel on a full ordinary passport of Spain, Sweden, Belgium, France, the United Kingdom (British citizen), the Netherlands or Austria. It does not apply to diplomatic or courtesy visas, which remain with Chad's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- For new applications from 11 May 2026, evisa.td is the exclusive route. From 21 May 2026, a visa issued outside that platform does not permit entry; visas regularly issued before that date remain individually valid until expiry.
- The portal states that Chad entry visas are delivered online and the circular requires an electronic dossier before the intended entry date. Apply no more than 60 days, and preferably at least 7 days, before entry; standard processing is 10 working days and express processing 72 hours, subject to further checks or congestion.
- A valid passport, the required purpose-specific documents, payment, health proof including yellow-fever documentation where required, security review, any post-arrival registration and final immigration admission remain required. No visa on arrival or manual entry authorization is established by this policy.
- Travel warnings, regional insecurity, work, residence, transit, crew, refugee, alien, service, diplomatic, courtesy, dual-nationality and other special-document routes remain outside this ordinary short-visitor baseline.
