Mozambique: eTA required before travel
The live immigration portal requires these nationalities to obtain an electronic travel authorisation before qualifying short tourist or business travel.
The eTA permits up to 30 days for tourist or business purposes and applies to all passport types in the published table; this policy models the ordinary-passport component.
The applicant must apply online, pay the fee and carry the approved preliminary eTA PDF for boarding and arrival.
An eVisa is needed instead if the permitted ETA duration or purpose does not cover the trip.
Ordinary-passport short tourism or business visits only; work, residence, study, crew, transit, diplomatic, official, service, refugee, emergency and other special-document cases are outside this policy.
Admission remains subject to passport validity, travel-purpose, supporting-document, health, security and border-control requirements; an approval or exemption does not guarantee entry.
Only destination governments, official immigration services, official diplomatic missions, and primary legal instruments qualify as published evidence.
