- This conclusion is limited to an ordinary-passport social visit. The Immigration Department's country table, MYVISA's specified 31-nationality eVisa framework, and the current Ministry of Foreign Affairs country-by-country visa chart together identify the exhaustive ordinary-passport framework; it is not a rule for work, study, residence, media, diplomatic, official, emergency, refugee, laissez-passer, certificate-of-identity, or other special travel documents.
- Visa-free duration is nationality- and purpose-specific. This policy does not convert ASEAN arrangements, Taiwan's separate stay limit, or other shorter social-visit permissions into a uniform duration.
- MDAC is a separate arrival declaration, not a visa, eVisa, ETA, entry permit, or admission guarantee. Subject to current listed exceptions, submit it within three days including the arrival date and present it with the passport to immigration.
- Malaysia determines individual admissibility and issues the appropriate pass at immigration control. A person prohibited under section 8 may be refused despite a valid travel document, visa, ticket, and funds.
