Ordinary passports: sponsored electronic tourist visa
Oman's Royal Oman Police offers tourists of all nationalities a sponsored 30-day tourist visa. The authority classifies sponsored tourist visas within its eVisa system and sends approved visas electronically before travel.
- A tourism company licensed in Oman must sponsor the application. This is not an unsponsored eVisa entitlement, visa exemption, visa on arrival, or ETA.
- The tourist visa is valid for 30 days and may be extended for a similar period. The application must be approved before travel; an approved electronic visa is sent to the registered email address.
- Use a valid ordinary passport and meet the sponsor, application, payment, supporting-document, carrier, border-control, and final-admission requirements. Work, residence, transit, diplomatic, official, emergency, refugee, stateless, and other special-document treatment remain outside this policy.
- Afghanistan, DPRK, and Palestine remain outside this batch under the project's conservative direct-evidence rule. Taiwan remains outside because current Omani authority lists diverge on its visa-free treatment.
