Taiwan ordinary passports with identity-card number: visa-free short visitor entry

The current Annex II limits Taiwan's ordinary-passport waiver to passports that contain an identity-card number.

    • The passport must have been issued by Taiwan and contain an identity-card number. The waiver is for an ordinary visitor stay up to 90 days in any 180-day period.
    • This does not normalize other Taiwan travel documents, work, residence, transit, special passports, entry prohibitions or final admission.
