Taiwan's current consular guidance says Solomon Islands cancelled visa on arrival for Taiwan passports and requires a visa application before travel.
- Applies to an ordinary Taiwan passport holder travelling as a short visitor.
- Taiwan's consular page says Solomon Islands cancelled visa on arrival on 24 April 2025, so the visa must be obtained before travel.
- Taiwan and Solomon Islands have no offices in each other's territory; the guidance warns that application can be difficult and suggests an agent or a nearby Solomon Islands mission.
- Work, residence, transit, special documents, carrier checks and final admission remain outside scope.
