Russian and Ukrainian ordinary passports: visa waiver plus eTA
Current official foreign-ministry records establish visa-free entry for Russian and Ukrainian ordinary passports; the operational eTA remains mandatory.
- Russia: the current Russian MFA table gives Russian citizens visa-free travel for 90 days in each 180 days.
- Ukraine: the current Ukrainian MFA country profile identifies the reciprocal waiver agreement and its 27 January 2017 entry into force.
- Both remain subject to approved eTA before travel, the ED declaration, document validity, prohibited-person rules, and immigration-officer admission.
