    United States ordinary passport: expressly pre-travel visitor visas

    Current State Department guidance expressly requires an ordinary U.S.-passport visitor to obtain a visa before travel to Liberia or Niger.

    • LR: all tourist visits require an advance visa; a traveler without one may be deported immediately.
    • NE: an advance visa is required; destination-specific passport, yellow-fever, security, carrier, entry-point, and final-admission conditions remain applicable.
