How this access rule is documented

  1. Current official routeVisa on arrival

United States ordinary passports: expressly available arrival visas

Current State Department guidance expressly describes an arrival-issuance route for the listed destinations, subject to each stated limitation.

    • SY: tourist visa may be issued on arrival at Damascus International Airport or at land entry from Lebanon or Jordan; 30-day stay, fee and Israeli-document restrictions apply.
    • DJ: visitors may apply on arrival; the stated fee is USD 23.
    • KM: visa is available on arrival and payment is in cash USD or euros.
    • TM: obtain the required letter of invitation first; then an airport visa route is available at Ashgabat. Registration, purpose, document and final-admission conditions remain applicable.
