    Antigua and Barbuda nationals: outside foreign visitor scope

    The foreign-national visa routes do not establish a visitor-entry classification for an Antigua and Barbuda passport holder.

    • This does not determine the treatment of a dual national travelling on a foreign passport or any individual departure, document, security or admission requirement.

    Named ordinary passports: visa-free visitors

    The current Immigration Department list expressly names these ordinary-passport nationalities as not requiring a visa. China and Cuba have a distinct 30-day cap; other listed visitors are normally admitted for holiday or business for up to six months if the published conditions are met.

    • China and Cuba are exempt only where travel does not exceed 30 days. The live list's section heading calls its other named European group EU but also names Serbia; this policy follows the explicit country names, not the inaccurate regional label.
    • For other named nationals, holiday or business stays may not exceed six months and require a valid passport, onward/return ticket, accommodation confirmation and evidence of funds. Admission remains discretionary.
    • This does not establish work, residence, study, crew, transit, diplomatic, official, service, emergency, refugee, stateless or other special-document treatment.

    Other foreign ordinary passports: advance eVisa

    The Immigration Department explicitly says countries not in its visa-exempt lists require a visa, and its eVisa Unit processes online applications for every person who requires one. The nationality complement is therefore normalized as evisa.

    • Apply electronically through the Immigration Department's entry-eVisa route. The eVisa is an official entry document, obtained after the Department decides the online application and paid electronically; it is not an ETA.
    • The eVisa FAQ says the route is for a travel-document holder requiring a visa and that a traveller who arrives without a visa is undocumented and may be refused entry. The baseline status is therefore not visa_on_arrival.
    • A separate, conditional 30-day tourist visa on arrival may be granted to a visitor who holds a valid US, Canadian, UK or Schengen visa or permanent-resident card, has no Antigua and Barbuda residence/occupation, travels solely for tourism/casual visits, and has a passport valid at least six months. This document-based exception does not change the nationality baseline.
    • The eVisa application requires a passport/travel document valid at least six months, photo, journey evidence, accommodation or sponsor evidence, funds and other requested documents. It is for tourism; work, residence, student, transit, cruise, diplomatic, official, special-document and admission cases remain separate.
    • A normally visa-required cruise visitor arriving in the morning and departing that evening, or a same-day in-transit passenger remaining in the airport's controlled space with onward proof, has a narrow special exception not represented by this ordinary visitor policy.
