    Guyana: MFA and ISS aligned ordinary-passport visa exemptions

    The current Foreign Ministry and Immigration Support Services schedules each name these nationalities without a special-passport or third-country-document condition. This is visa-free short entry, not a landing permit, eVisa or visa-on-arrival classification.

    • Only explicitly named, unqualified ordinary-passport entries in both current schedules are included.
    • The schedules give different permitted periods for some shared nationalities, including the Dominican Republic and Panama; no uniform duration is assigned.
    • CARICOM movement language, landing permits, and special-document routes are not normalized as this ordinary-passport visa exemption.

    Guyana: Bolivian ordinary-passport tourist visa on arrival

    ISS expressly identifies a tourist visa on arrival for Bolivian regular-passport holders. The official online process requires visa-on-arrival material and an approval letter before travel; the visa itself is issued at the port of entry, so this is not an eVisa.

    • The stated nationality route is limited to tourist entry with a regular passport.
    • Apply through ISS and obtain the emailed approval letter before travel; the immigration visa is issued at arrival.
    • This does not establish an electronic visa, walk-up visa without approval, work, residence, study, transit, diplomatic, official, service or special-document route.

    Guyana: foreign ordinary-passport advance-visa complement

    The Immigration (Passports) Order establishes this foreign ordinary-passport visa-required baseline. A situational ISS alternative is available where a visa-required-country national cannot apply at a Guyanese mission: approval is obtained before travel and the visa is issued at the port of entry, which is visa_on_arrival rather than eVisa.

    • This is the ordinary-passport nationality baseline. It does not guarantee admission or remove immigration-officer discretion.
    • The official ISS visa-on-arrival alternative is situational, not a nationality-wide baseline: the traveller must be unable to apply at any Guyanese diplomatic mission. Those able to use a mission obtain a consular visa before travel.
    • The statutory residual group excludes a scheduled passport country, a reciprocal visa-free Commonwealth route, an individual ministerial exemption, or a visa-abolition agreement in force. No unverified exception is assumed.
    • Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico have published U.S.-permanent-resident or valid U.S., Canadian or Schengen-visa alternatives. Those document- or residence-conditioned exceptions are preserved and do not make their ordinary nationality passports visa-free.
    • Diplomatic, official, service, special, crew, work, study, business, landing-permit, transit and existing-visa routes are outside this short-visitor ordinary-passport baseline.
    • For a qualifying ISS applicant, the approval letter is required before boarding and the visa is stamped and issued at arrival. Preapproval does not make the border-issued route an eVisa.
