Taiwanese ordinary passports: 14-day visa-free entry
Holders of ordinary Republic of China (Taiwan) passports may enter Oman without a visa for a visit of up to 14 days. Taiwan's passport authority identifies the ROP system code as 901 and distinguishes the short visa-free route from optional longer visa-on-arrival and eVisa products.
- The visa-free stay is limited to 14 days and cannot be extended.
- The traveller must use an ordinary Republic of China (Taiwan) passport; the ROP system identifies this passport as code 901 rather than a People's Republic of China passport.
- For tourism beyond 14 days, the official guidance describes optional 30-day visa-on-arrival and unsponsored eVisa routes. Those alternatives do not negate the easier short-stay visa-free status.
- Normal passport-validity, purpose, onward-travel and admissibility rules continue to apply.
